Mark Mccabe

Mark McCabe, known to all who loved him as "Shaggy," passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 62.

Mark dedicated 32 years of his life to Ancora Psychiatric Hospital, where he worked in housekeeping and was known for his hard work and commitment. In addition to his professional career, Mark was a passionate volunteer firefighter with the Winslow Township Police Department, always ready to lend a hand to his community.

Outside of his work and volunteer service, Mark had a variety of interests that brought joy to his life. He was an avid fan of WWE wrestling and enjoyed riding his bike. Mark also had a great love for football. He found comfort and connection through listening to police and fire scanners, always staying tuned in to the pulse of his local community. You could often find Mark outside at sunset with his dear friend, Christina, admiring the different colors of the sky.

Mark is survived by his parents, Joan and Michael Ruggeri and cousin and dear friend, Christina Perna.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
