Mark Anthony Ressa, also known as “Hank,” age 35 of Swedesboro, NJ passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Mark is survived by his loving wife Gina (nee DiGenni); children, McKayla Elizabeth and Colton Michael Ressa; dogs, Lilly and Daisy; parents, Louis Jeminey and Cynthia Casper; brothers, Robert (Kim) Jeminey, Paul (Lori) Zagarella, and Andrew (Ashley) Paolini; brother-in-law, Michael (Danielle) DiGenni; grandmother, Henrietta Casper; uncle, Daniel Jeminey; nieces and nephews, Kelly, AJ, Ashton, Alex, and Lucia; and “adopted” son, Keith Mennig. Mark is predeceased by his loving, four-legged best friend, Chooch; grandfather, Matthew Casper; and grandmother, Marie Jeminey.
Mark was born on November 7, 1986 and was a 2005 graduate of Cherry Hill High - East High School. At a young age he started his own landscaping business and was known to many as the “The Landscaper Kid.” That business would ultimately bring him and his friends a lot of success until he got his dream job as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Local 825. Mark was also a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years at multiple companies. He started his volunteer career with Voorhees later joining Stratford and most recently Woolwich. Mark loved being able to help anyone and everyone that needed it. Mark was known to many as the handyman, always knowing what to do and how to fix something. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he would be sure to figure it out. He loved doing wood working projects with his wife, being out on the boat or camping in the RV, or just enjoying time with friends and family. Above all, Mark was a devoted husband and father. McKayla and Colton were the most important part of his life and everything he did was for them.
Family and Friends are invited to Mark’s viewing on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 442 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ and again on Wednesday, June 22, 22022, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Andrews the Apostle, 27 Kresson Gibbsboro Rd., Gibbsboro, NJ. Mass to follow. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McKayla and Colton’s future education and care.
