Marie Snavely Goulburn

Marie Snavely Goulburn of Stone Harbor, and Haddonfield passed peacefully at age 93 on May 10, 2022 surrounded by her four boys and other immediate family. She worked as a nurse to her marriage to the late Dr. William T. Goulburn, MD. Soon thereafter became a loving and busy mother to four boys: Tate (Fay), David (Joyce), Rick (Gail), and Bobby, (Addison). She loved her five grandchildren: Gwen, Chase, Ryan, Kyle and Clay. She had three sisters: Doris Hauck, the late Grace Glasmeier and the late Jane Zuch. Loving aunt of many on the Goulburn side and Snavely side, with a special close relationship with Frank, Carol, and Laurie who lived nearby. Marie was born in Lancaster, Pa. She was a graduate of Manheim HS and the UPenn’s Nursing Program. Marie and Bill had much fun through their years. They both loved their many friends, the seashore, traveling, reading, and a nightly glass of scotch. She was fun to the end. She was well loved and will be very missed. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, June 11th from 9 to 10:30AM at the Collingswood Presby'n Church, 30 Fern Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108. Memorial Service is at 10:30AM. Her and Bill’s cremated remains will be combined and interred in the Church Memorial Garden and Harleigh Cemetery.
