Marie Pepe

Marie Pepe, age 89 of Pitman, NJ, went to the lord on January 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late John and Marie (nee White) Whitefield in Philadelphia, PA. Marie previously worked as a medical secretary for many years. An avid reader, Marie enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, cooking, and baking. In her younger years, she liked to swim and vacationing with family. Marie was a devout Catholic and could often be found reading her Bible. She and her late husband taught conversion classes at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church in Blackwood, NJ; where she was also a parishioner. Marie was a member of the Red Hat Club. She will be deeply missed.

Marie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Pepe, Jr.; daughter, Marie Longstreth; grandchildren, Tina Pepe and Tiffany Pepe; great grandchild, Alex Pepe; and son in law, Ed Bray.

She is survived by her children, John Pepe (Sharyn); Frank Pepe, and Diane Bray; granddaughters and caretakers, Emily Pepe and Elizabeth Ryan; and 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, located at 19 Malaga Rd., Williamstown, NJ 08094. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown, NJ.
