Margaret Theresa Navrot

Margaret "Margi" Theresa Navrot (née Schmidt), age 69, of Clementon, NJ, passed away on November 23, 2024. She is survived by her beloved husband, Steven Navrot; her dear son, Alexander Montufar; her cherished daughters, Charlotte and Pamela Navrot; and her precious niece, Victoria Schmidt. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Robert and Veronica Schmidt, and her adored brother, Robert W. Schmidt. Margi is also survived by many family members, friends, and her beloved pets.

Margi was born on April 29, 1955, in Fort Campbell, KY. A dedicated educator, she served as a Special Education Teacher throughout her life, establishing programs that enriched her students’ lives, such as Business Buddies, the Renaissance Program, and the Freshman Seminar Program. Her dedication and impact earned her the distinction of Teacher of the Year.

To know Margi was to know a selfless, strong, and witty person. She was a creative soul, with talents in painting, acting, and sewing, and she put the care of others above herself. Margi loved deep-sea fishing, casinos, traveling, camping, and fine dining. She cherished her summers by the shore, first with her girlfriends in the early years and later with family.

Margi was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, and aunt. She was a mentor and role model to her children and a source of joy and strength to all who knew her.

Margi’s memory will live on in all of us. Whenever you hear a Beatles song or see a hummingbird, think of her.

She will be deeply missed. We love you, Mommahead.

Margi’s viewing will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, a funeral service will begin at 1:00pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 260 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin.
