Mansukhlal J. Doshi

Mansukhlal J. Doshi, age 88 of Beavercreek, OH, passed away on January 14, 2024. He was born in Mumbai, India to the late Jerambhai Doshi and Santok Shah and the youngest of 5 brothers.


Upon arriving in America in 1961, Manubhai settled in Dayton, Ohio, which became home for the next 63 years. He was instrumental in building a vibrant Indian community that is now home to so many Indian American residents. Manubhai served as a past President of the India Club of Greater Dayton, hosted and sponsored many community events, and proudly helped establish the Hindu Temple in Beavercreek.


Manubhai worked in the pathology lab at Kettering Medical Center for 15 years before starting his second career as the sole proprietor of Kwality Nuts, Greater Dayton’s first Indian grocery store. In his retired life, he served his community as a tax preparer and by volunteering at Miami Valley Hospital and Soin Medical Center.


Manubhai believed foremost in education, hard work and honesty grounded in his devotion to God. A devoted family man, Manubhai will be deeply missed by his family and his community. He is survived by his wife, Bharti Doshi; sons, Nilesh Doshi (Sangeeta) and Sunil Doshi (Urvi); and grandchildren Shailen, Vishal, Maya, Vivek, and Shaan.


A private viewing and Puja will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Cremation to follow. A live stream of the service will be available by clicking this link . A separate event will be held in Dayton, Ohio at a date to be determined. Additional information will be forthcoming for those that are able to attend in Dayton, Ohio.
