Malcolm M. Khan

December 23, 1940 — April 12, 2021

Malcolm Khan, age 80 of Voorhees, NJ passed away on April 12, 2021. Beloved husband of 46 years to Hema Khan (Nallanna Lakshminarayanaiah), Son Navin Khan, Daughter Dr. Neetha Khan, Son-in-Law Dr. John Kitchin and Grandchildren Bodhi Kitchin and Layla Kitchin, will miss him greatly. He was born in Rangoon, Burma in 1940 and grew up in India, Pakistan and England. In his late teens he was a cadet in the Pakistani Navy and later (1956-1962) attended the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, England. While studying in England, he had many adventures travelling all over Europe. Upon his return from England he became a lieutenant in the Pakistani Navy. In 1968, he came to the United States to attend Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia and received his MBA in 1970. In 1974 he married Hema and moved from Philadelphia, PA to Voorhees, NJ. Malcolm was so loved by his many friends and family for his generosity, lighthearted, and cheerful nature. He was a vibrant fun loving spirit and everyone who met him never forgot him. As his nieces put it he was the fun and crazy Uncle Malcolm! He called himself citizen of the world. We will remember him for his many adventure stories and for his dry British sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him. Malcolm was the son of late Dr. Yusuf Khan from Pakistan and the late Daphne Feathers from England. His siblings include Dr. Michael Khan of Miami, FL and Dr. Gordon Khan of Manchester, England and a host of beautiful nieces and nephews on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. He was an avid sportsman through his whole life, playing many games of tennis, squash or racquetball and watching his children play soccer and tennis. While he lived in Philly, he was an avid cricketer playing for the Philadelphia Cricket club in Fairmont Park in Philadelphia, PA.
