Mafatbhai B. Patel

September 14, 1959 — May 16, 2023

Mafatbhai Patel has passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the young age of 63 surrounded by his

family. He was the elder of two brothers born in Rasnol, Anand, Gujarat. Mafatbhai is survived by his

wife Dharmishthaben Patel, Daughters Bhavisha Sangani, Darshana Patel, Son Nikunj Patel and

cherished grandchildren. He will always be missed by his younger brother Indravadan Patel & family.

Mafatbhai started his journey from a small village in Gujarat. He completed his Graduation in 70s from

Ahmedabad. He joined the C Somabhai Tea Makers Group and ranked himself up to the Production

Managers’ position. He was very passionate about his work and loved by his peers and workers alike. His

work ethics and loyalty commanded respect from the Group. After all his children moved to the North

America, he decided to join them less than a decade ago.

Mafatbhai will be more remembered as a staunch devotee of Swaminarayan Bhagwan. Satsang was the

first and foremost priority and essence of his life. Rain or shine, healthy or sick, he never missed a day to

worship his Bhagwan. He prayed more for others than he did it for himself – he prayed for people who

didn’t even know he did it for them!

He was a remarkable man, a loving father, and a true inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing

him. Our father was a beacon of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. He embraced his role as a

father with boundless dedication, always putting his family first and selflessly providing for our needs.

As a father, he was a constant pillar of support. He celebrated our successes, comforted us in times of

sorrow, and guided us through life's challenges. His wisdom and gentle guidance were the steady hand

that helped shape us into the people we are today. He believed in us even when we doubted ourselves,

and his unwavering belief gave us the strength to persevere.

Our father had a profound love for life. He had a zest for adventure, and his infectious enthusiasm

brought joy to everyone around him. He taught us to appreciate the simple pleasures in life, to find

beauty in the world around us, and to cherish the moments we shared with loved ones. God gave him a

very innocent child-like heart which he preserved until his last breath.

He was a man of integrity, whose values guided his every action. He taught us the importance of

honesty, hard work, and perseverance. His unwavering moral compass was a guiding light in our lives,

and he instilled in us a sense of responsibility to make a positive difference in the world.

His love extended far beyond his immediate family. He touched the lives of countless individuals

through his acts of kindness and generosity. He was always there to lend a helping hand, offer a listening

ear, or provide a word of encouragement. His capacity for compassion knew no bounds, and his legacy

of love will continue to ripple through the lives he touched.

Our father's love knew no bounds. He was a source of unconditional love and acceptance, and his love

was a source of solace and strength during difficult times. We were truly blessed to have him as our

father, and his love will forever live on in our hearts.

We bid farewell to our beloved father and celebrate a life well-lived and the profound impact he had on

each of us, let us remember the lessons he taught us and carry forward his legacy. Let us strive to

embody the qualities he so gracefully demonstrated – compassion, integrity, and a zest for life. Let us

cherish the memories we shared and find solace in knowing that his love will forever guide and protect

us.

Though our hearts ache with the loss of our father, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on

through the lives he touched. We are grateful for the time we had with him, and we are better

individuals because of the love and guidance he bestowed upon us.

We will forever hold you in our hearts. We will honor your memory by living lives filled with love,

compassion, and the values you instilled in us. Rest in peace, knowing that your legacy will endure for

generations to come.
