Madan M. Singh

Our father was a remarkable person who exuded love and resilience. A beloved son who was adored by his parents and siblings. A devoted and compassionate husband whose dedication and admiration for his wife never wavered. A tender-hearted and nurturing father whose love for his children was undeniable. A sincere and compassionate friend, admired by his friends and colleagues alike. Madan Mohan Singh passed away on August 8th, 2024, at the age of 65, surrounded by his children. He showed great strength and courage while facing life’s most difficult obstacles, all while continuing to prioritize his family’s happiness.

A highly motivated and accomplished man throughout his life, Madan received his Bachelors of Science degree in Production Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology - Mesra in Ranchi, India. He went on to complete his Masters of Science in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. He began his engineering career working as a Project Controls Consultant, subsequently advancing to Senior Project Control Manager. Madan was highly regarded by all those who had the opportunity to work with him, due to his supportive, trusting, and considerate personality.

Our father always instilled many positive affirmations in us, but consistently emphasized kindness towards others and always reminding us to lead a happy life. He was an avid foodie, loyal NY Giants fan, cricket enthusiast, and sought enjoyment from literature and movies. His most enjoyable moments were spent among his beloved family and friends, cooking and enjoying a meal together.

As the backbone of his family, he effortlessly supported and provided guidance to all his loved ones without question. He wore multiple hats as a supportive brother, loving husband, affectionate father, dependable friend, and a valued mentor. He will continue to remain in our hearts as the “universal Papa,” an encouraging, sweet, and thoughtful individual who showers us with blessings and provides immeasurable love.

Thank you, Papa. We love you so very much.

Madan is survived by his children, Juhi Taylor, Shradha Ray, and Chandni Gallagher; sons-in laws, Oliver Taylor II and Colin Gallagher; grandchildren, Aarna Singh, Prathamesh Singh, Roshni Singh, Saara Taylor, Oliver Taylor III, and Akash Singh; sisters, Geeta Singh and Meeta Singh; nephews, Animesh Singh, Abhishek Singh, and Aditya Singh; nieces-in-law, Sarika Singh, Avantika Singh, and Manasvi Koul; and last but certainly not least, his grandpups, Coral and Winston.
