Mabel M. Whitkus

Mabel M. Whitkus, age 90 of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on January 29, 2023. She was born to the late Earl and Esther (nee Mills) Laws in Philadelphia, PA. Mabel previously worked in food service at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in Hammonton, NJ. She enjoyed going to the casino and having a cup of decaf coffee. Mabel loved cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for her family. Most of all, she cherished spending time family and being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Mabel is predeceased by beloved husband of 14 years, Allen Whitkus; parents, Earl and Esther Laws; and siblings, Dorothy, Robert, David, and Esther.

She is survived by her children, Donna Ordille, Carmen Ordille (Kelly), Theresa McBride (Steven), Joseph Ordille (Michele) and Tina Kanagie (David); grandchildren, Brian Ordille (Jane), Autumn Ordille, Skylar Ordille, Matthew Stoerrle (Angel), Ryah Stoerrle (Amanda), Kelsey Meehan (James), Gabrielle Ordille, Nicholas Kanagie, and Stephanie Kanagie; and great grandchildren, Adalyn, Jihyun, Samuel, Faith, Marie, Sawyer, Addison, and Elias.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
