Louis P. Mattia

Louis P Mattia, a father, brother, uncle, and friend to many passed away due to natural causes in his home at the age of 65 on August 29, 2022 in Tabernacle NJ.

Louis was born in Camden NJ October 10, 1956. He raised by his loving parents Adam and Rita Mattia alongside his bright and caring sisters Linda and Lisa. Louis graduated from Overbook High School and moved on to build a successful career in sales for the rest of his working days.

Louis was a person who appreciated nature. He treasured time spent outside whether it be kayaking, swimming, fishing, or lounging away in his hammock in the sunshine. He was always smiling when showing off pictures of birds and wildlife he had captured with his camera after a day of venturing through beautiful remote areas of NJ.

Louis was a funny, charismatic, joker who enjoyed riding his motorcycle and making people laugh. He had many friends who he cherished dearly. He would often recount the funny and wild times they shared, always with his contagious smile across his face. Louis was proud of his Italian American heritage and was a member of the Sons of Italy and the American Legion.

Lou will be missed by his sisters Linda and Lisa, his niece Ria and his nephew Adam, his dear friends and family, and his daughter Corinne.
