Lorraine S. Evans

Lorraine Salerno Evans, age 83, of Berlin, NJ, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Raymond H. Evans, Jr. Loving mother of Raymond H. (Lynda) Evans III. Proud grandmother of Raymond IV (Jessica), Andrew (Caitlin), Rory, and Rianna; great-grandmother of Kian, Dylan, and Lucian. Dear sister of the late Jane Pacitti and the late Rose Jamattona. Lorraine was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Berlin, NJ since 1969. She was the former owner and operator, along with her husband, of The Barn Door, Atco, NJ. Lorraine was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Berlin, where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Berlin Lions Club. Lorraine enjoyed traveling, especially to visit with a group of high school friends she stayed in touch with. She also dearly loved her pets. Viewing will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 442 S. Rt. 73, Berlin, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
