Linda A. Vacca

November 9, 1949 — August 16, 2024

Linda A. Vacca (nee Gillen) age 74 passed away on August 16, 2024 at her home in Williamstown, NJ. Linda is survived by her son, James J. Vacca (Melissa) of Williamstown, NJ and her daughter, Kathleen Kindya of Haddon Hts., NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alex Vacca, Joseph Vacca and Jake Kindya. Also surviving is her sister, Geraldine Agnew.


Linda was a passionate, Loving Irish Girl who knew how to enjoy life! She loved singing Karaoke “Crazy”, playing the piano, dancing and listening to her favorite music. She worked tirelessly as an Emergency Room Nurse at Underwood Memorial Hospital and eventually became head of the Infection Control Department; however, her greatest passion and love was for her friends and family. She loved gathering around the table laughing, eating, and telling stories. She was always the happiest with her “people”


Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation with her family on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 9:30am to 11:00am at the Our Lady of Peace Parish/St. Mary’s Church, Corner of Carroll Ave & Main St., Williamstown, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment will follow at New St. Mary’s Cemetery at the Mausoleum, Bellmawr, NJ.
