Leslie E. Turner, Jr.

Leslie E. Turner, Jr., age 76, of Hammonton, NJ passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 12th, 2024. He is survived by his beloved children, Tina Cravens (Michael), Trish Turner, Tamara Keith, and Jeremy Lesley, his brother, Bobby Turner, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Janet Murphy, his brother-in-law, Charles McGahey, his dear grandchildren, Ashley Irwin, Alicia Sias, Amber Irwin, Brandon Irwin, Bradley Cravens, William Rowe, Jr., Travis Packer, Alex Freyberger, and Kyle Keith as well as his great granddaughter, Aurora Sias and many nieces and nephews. Leslie is pre-deceased by his cherished wife, Patricia Turner, his parents, Leslie, Sr. and Blanche Turner, his siblings, Leah McGahey, and Tommy Turner, as well as his brother-in-law and sister-in law, Veronica, and John Korn.

Leslie was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked many years as a lineman and supervisor for Bell Atlantic (Verizon). Leslie was the life of the party, his laughter and energy always brought people together. There are countless memories from the rodeo to bringing llamas back home or getting in trouble with his brother-in-law, Mike. Leslie loved his horse, Lacey and enjoyed spending time at the barn. He was a devoted customer to WAWA always with a coffee in hand and if you couldn’t find him…check the local WAWA. Most of all, Leslie cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. His friendly, loving spirit still remained as he battled Alzheimer’s. He will be deeply missed.

Cremation will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s association via this link.
