Leelavanti C. Makvana

Leelavanti C. Makvana, 73, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in Camden, NJ.

Leela, as she was lovingly known as by many of her friends and loved ones was born in Bombay, India.

She enjoyed surfing the web, especially “Amazon” to look for a perfect gift for all the Hindu and American festivities. Her most creative achievement was her passion to cook by following recipes of her favorite online chefs. Leela also enjoyed artwork to include henna tattoos that followed Hindu cultural scriptures.

She never missed her beloved sons and her most dear daughter-in- law’s birthdays and was always the first to come forward with well wishes and blessings. Leela enjoyed family gatherings and daily prayers.

She is survived by her two sons, Ajay S. Suthar and Hemant S. Suthar, daughter-in-law, Anita Suthar.
