Kenneth W. Alcott

Kenneth W. Alcott, age 90 of Hammonton, NJ, passed away on June 30, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Carlton and Edna Alcott in Mt. Holly, NJ. Kenneth enlisted in the US Army and served in the Korean War. He then enlisted in the US Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. After the Vietnam War, he stayed in the Air Force for 23 years and retired in 1972 as a Technical Sergeant. Kenneth was very proud of his faithful service to his country. He enjoyed baseball, football, and bowling. Most of all, his beloved wife Denise “Sherry,” was the center of his world and he cherished spending time with her. Kenneth will be deeply missed.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Denise Alcott (nee Gotti); sister Gloria; children, Patrick Alcott (Wanda), Lorraine Pappert, and Andrew Alcott (Kerri Hibbs); and grandchildren, Jeffrey Brian Pappert and Devon Alcott.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
