Kenneth Trent, age 91, of Atco, NJ, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021. Beloved husband of Katherine Trent (née Loatman). Loving father of Robert Trent (his wife, Pamela), and Joseph Trent. Proud grandfather of Robin E. Dunn (her husband, David Dunn); great-grandfather of Juniper and Hannah Dunn. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Archer Trent, and mother, Elsa Trent (née Morgan), brother, Conrad Trent, sisters, Mila Carpenter, and Norma Trent. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army from 1951 – 1954 during the Korean War. On the GI bill he attended Drexel University-Evening Classes earning his BA in Engineering. He went on to work as an electrical engineer for General Electric, ICI America, and finally, Kimberly Clark, formerly Scott Paper Co., for whom he traveled the world in the installation of paper mills, pulp mills, and energy reclamation projects. This work-related travel inspired a lifelong interest in travel; and he and Katherine traveled extensively, eagerly sharing his experiences in words and photos at gatherings of family and friends. Kenneth was a remarkable husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather placing family above all other concerns. He is remembered by them as dotting on them, supporting them, and lauding their accomplishments to friends, family members and co-workers alike. He wholeheartedly embraced all who crossed his path, with laughter, joy and optimism. Services for Mr. Trent are pending. Condolences may be shared at www.lpwoosterfuneralhome.com
