Kathleen S. Creary (nee Feasler) died February 23, 2023 after a brief illness. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Feasler, she was also preceded in death by her brother Jackie and her sister Margaret Zeck.
She is survived by her beloved husband Andy to whom she was married for 47 years and her son, Patrick, along with her sister, Cindy and her brothers Jim (Joan), Ed (Kelly) and Kevin along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Raised in Collingswood, NJ. Kathy was a graduate of the CHS Class of ’65 and went to work for the Philadelphia National Bank after high school, starting out in the secretarial pool and eventually becoming the 24th woman officer of the bank.
In 1977, she and Andy moved to the Blue Anchor section of Winslow Township where they both became active members of St. Anthony’s Church in Waterford which later merged to become part of The Parish of Christ The Redeemer.
A long-time member of the Parish Liturgy Committee, Kathy was also a cantor at St. Anthony’s, served for more than 40 years as a Lector and was also a Minister of the Eucharistic.
Even after the merger, she continued to take care of her beloved St. Anthony’s and along with her “crew” cleaned and maintained the Church and coordinated all the seasonal decoration of St. Anthony’s and readying St. Anthony’s for Sunday Mass.
At her request, there will be no viewing. All she asks is that you remember her in her prayers.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasslhan Dr., Atco, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rt. 73, Cedar Brook, NJ
