Kathleen Joanne Stetser, 73, passed away on October 21, 2024, at Virtua Voorhees. Born on August 9, 1951, Kathy, as she was affectionately known, dedicated her life to her family and community with a spirit that was as nurturing as it was vivacious.
Kathy graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and spent her professional life in various roles, including working at the Motor Vehicles Department and engaging in landscaping with Green Lea and Frank's Nursery & Crafts. However, her most cherished role was that of a homemaker, where she infused her love and care into every aspect of her home life.
Kathy's life was marked by a profound love for the outdoors. Whether it was gardening, taking nature walks, camping, canoeing, or kayaking, she found joy and peace in the natural world. Her hobbies were not just pastimes but a reflection of her deep connection to the environment.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her daughter, Jacqueline M. Kennedy and her husband, Thomas, son, Jason M. Stetser and his wife, Stephanie, grandchildren John M. Kennedy and Victoria M. Kennedy, and her beloved puppy, Sage Luna Vom Stetser. She is also survived by her siblings, Peter Fabiani, Carole Wilson, and Susan Mraz. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Stetser, her parents, Pete W. and Mary T. Fabiani, and her sister Barbara Fabiani.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004, with eulogies to follow at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at 1st Presbyterian Church of Blackwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that individuals plant a tree in Kathy's honor, continuing her legacy of love for nature and the outdoors.
