Katherine E. Bechtel, 73, of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph and Catherine Colby. Katherine loved her garden and enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Stephen Colby and lifetime partner, Robert H. Lee.

Katherine is survived by her children, Thomas R. Bechtel and Heather Rose Bechtel; her siblings, Kenneth Colby, Joseph Colby and Sharon Colby-Anello; and grandchildren, Sean M. Welker, Samantha M. Welker, Brandon Bechtel and Dalton Bechtel.

Funeral services will be private.
