Karen L. Sharples

Karen Sharples, age 68, of Marlton, NJ and formerly of Merchantville and Moorestown, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Saturday March 9, 2019. Karen was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She retired from Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly and previously worked for the Evergreens Senior Living in Moorestown. Karen loved traveling in her free time. She was an avid animal lover and advocate. She, along with her daughter, donated free time to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage for numerous years. Beloved mother of Marissa Melki & her husband Peter; loving grandmother of Madison Melki; devoted aunt of Briana Shores-Hodson; cherished companion of Eric Haviland. Karen also leaves behind many loving friends and other extended family members. Family & friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004.
