Kantaben S. Desai

It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Kantaben Desai (“Ba”, “Moti Mommy”) announces her peaceful passing after a long, loving, and happy life of 81 years. She left this Earth with her family by her side in Voorhees, NJ on May 19, 2020. She was born October 13, 1938, in Gujarat, India. Ba and Sunderlal Desai (“Dada”) were happily married on May 21, 1959. Ba spent her days caring for her immediate family in India, before moving with Dada in 1991 to care for her expanding family in America. She will be remembered for all her giving to her children and grandchildren, veracity in playing card games, bubbly personality, and cooking. Her vivacious and loving presence will be missed. Ba will join Dada, her husband of 62 years, and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rajan (m. Deepa), Ketki (m. Manu), and Tanuja (m. Nihir). Ba will also be fondly remembered and survived by her eight grandchildren, Ankur, Shaili (m. Sagar), Anna, Sheena, Sona, Naomi, Nolan and Shiv.
