Julius Barrientos Maturan, age 51, was a thoughtful, humble and kind son, brother,uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, June 26, 2023. Born in Camden NJ on June 13, 1972, he was a lifelong resident of South Jersey. He worked for Ancora Psychiatric Hospital, Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, Toms River Court House and recently as a DHS Support Specialist for Octo an IBM company. A 1990 Graduate of Overbrook Regional High School in Pine Hill, NJ. He was passionate about traveling,cooking, and fishing down the Jersey Shore. He was raised in the Roman Catholic faith. He loved spending time with his family and childhood friends, colleagues, and especially enjoyed seeing his nephews, Alexander and Maurice. Julius was preceded in death by his mother, Angelina.
He is survived by his father, Rodolfo G Maturan, elder brother, Rodilyn Barrientos Maturan and his sister-in-law Fay (Mancebo), Juliana Maturan Rosenbleeth and brother in-law, Joe (Rosenbleeth), their two boys Alexander and Maurice Jacob, uncle, Dr Loreto Barrientos, aunt Rita,cousins Michael, Elinor (Lou), Robert, Roslyn (David), Desiree (Alexander),Audrey and also Barrientos/Maturan clan in the US and Philippines.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2nd from 11 am to 12 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ with a service to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Heart Association.
