Julie Woodward

August 7, 1970 — January 7, 2024

Julie Lin Woodward, 53, of Pennsauken, NJ passed away January 7th, 2024, at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital following a brief stay. Julie was born on August 7th, 1970, in Troy, PA to the late Marvin and Clara Woodward of Alba, PA. Julie was a 1988 graduate of Troy High School. Julie was a faithful member of the Troy High School Marching Band and she took great pride following in her father’s footsteps, sharing his passion for the drums and music. Julie held a deep love for literature (specifically Lord of the Rings), Whitney Houston and Sci-Fi. After graduating, Julie relocated to New Jersey where she started a blossoming and successful career in the hospitality industry. During her career, Julie worked for hotels in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Philadelphia. She was also hired as a consultant for major hotels in Texas and Los Angeles. In New Jersey, Julie met the love of her life, Le Ann. Julie and Le Ann’s love was incredibly powerful and inspirational to those around them. Julie and Le Ann held a commitment ceremony expressing their devotion to each other on September 11th, 2004. They were legally married on November 9th, 2013, at their home in New Jersey surrounded by their families.

Julie and Le Ann built a beautiful life together. Their shared love and appreciation of animals resulted in them raising, fostering and nurturing countless dogs and cats in their life together. In 2008, after a successful HR career of her own, Le Ann founded a dog waste removal service called All Dogs Poop. Growing tired of the stress in her career, Julie decided to take a leap and work for All Dogs Poop full time. Julie was incredibly proud of what her wife was able to accomplish with the business.

In early 2018, Le Ann was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Upon this diagnosis, Julie did everything she could to keep Le Ann comfortable, happy and laughing. They were fortunate to have almost 5 years together before Le Ann tragically lost her battle with cancer in 2022.
