Judith A. Young

Judith Anne Young (née Greenig), of Medford, NJ, formerly of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 85 years old with her two sons and family by her side. Judy is survived by her two sons, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one sister. Son, Thomas J. Young of Medford, NJ, wife Jayne, grandchildren: Jessica, husband Al, Chelsea, husband Josh, Ashley, and Thomas; great grandchild, Madeline. Son, Philip S. Young of Sewell, NJ, wife Connie, grandchildren: Kaitlynn and River; great grandchildren: Zoey, Maddox, and Skylar. Sister, Dolores M. Hiles (née Greenig), husband Rick Hiles, deceased, and sister, Janice M. Greenig, deceased.

Born September 1938 in Camden, NJ, Judy grew up in Collingswood, NJ and spent summers in Ocean City, NJ. She graduated from Collingswood High School in 1956 and married the love of her life, John C. Young in August 1957. They lived together in Pine Hill, NJ for 35 years. In 1998, they retired to Cape Coral, FL. After 20 years in Florida, they returned to New Jersey to be closer to family. Jack passed away in 2019.

Judy was a school bus driver for 28 years and volunteered at Cape Coral Hospital during her retirement. She enjoyed family time, seeing friends, good music, and dancing with her husband. Her favorite meal was chocolate. She will always be remembered for her kind, loving heart.
