Joseph M. Dicamillo, Sr.

Joseph M. DiCamillo, Sr., age 85 of Atco, NJ, passed away on April 24, 2024. He was born to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Lochetti) DiCamillo in Camden, NJ. Joseph proudly served in the US Navy from 1957-1962. He worked as a Union Electrician for IBEW Local 351 for 50 years. After his retirement from the union, he kept busy driving a school bus, which he loved. Joseph was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time at his property in West Virginia. He will be deeply missed.

Joseph is predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Gertrude DiCamillo; siblings, Angelo DiCamillo, Herman DiCamillo, Antoinette DiCamillo, and Marie DiCamillo; and parents, Joseph and Mary DiCamillo.

He is survived by his children, Joseph DiCamillo, Jr. (Sherri) and Angela Maiola (Alfred, Jr.); grandchildren, Gina Maiola, Alfred Maiola III (Mary Frances), and Jospeh DiCamillo III; great grandchild, Alfred Maiola IV; and sister, Theresa Revelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, located at 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004.
