Joseph Lewis Falconi, Sr.

Joseph L. Falconi, Sr., affectionately known as “Injun Joe,” age 83 of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on February 6, 2023. He was born in Paulsboro, NJ to the late Vito and Mary (nee Angelini) Falconi. Joseph proudly served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in March 1963. He owned his own landscaping business, J. Falconi and Sons for many years. Joseph was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He also played in a men’s softball league. Most of all, he was known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. Joseph will be deeply missed.

Joseph is predeceased by his siblings, Frankie Falconi, Adeline “Sissy” Cella (nee Falconi), Louie Falconi, and George Falconi.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph L. Falconi, Jr. (Susan) and Raymond Falconi (Sheree); grandchildren, Ashley Filipone and Gabby Falconi; and great grandchildren, Charlotte, Daniel, and James.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge and/or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
