Joseph F. Sauer, Sr.

Joseph F. Sauer, Sr. April 22, 1937 – January 25, 2021 Of Atco, NJ, Age 83 years passed away on January 25, 2021. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Theresa (nee Schilk), his sons Joe and Nick (Linda), and daughter-in-law, Ann Sauer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, as well as uncles, nieces, and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his brother, Frank, and his son, John, whom we know greeted him with open arms. Joe was born in Philadelphia and raised by his Mom and Pop, Joseph and Elizabeth Sauer. He went on to graduate from Northeast Catholic High School. Afterward, Joe proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. In 1955, Joe married his high school sweetheart, Theresa. Together they began a beautiful family, raising three sons, Joe, Nicky, and Johnny. Joe worked for 35+ years at Glaxo Smith Kline. He dedicated his time to his family and coaching for many youth sports organizations in South Jersey including Stratford Little League Baseball, Stratford Falcons Football, and Overbrook Cowboys Football. Cremation will be held privately. Condolences may be shared on the Tribute Wall.
