Joseph Anthony Zarrella

Joseph Anthony Zarrella, age 78, of Cedar Brook, NJ, passed away on Sunday August 8, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Frances L. Zarrella (nee Behan). Loving companion of Maryann Dugan. Cherished father of Carol Ann (Scott) Burek, Annamarie (Joseph) Miller, and Joseph M. (Carol Ann) Zarrella. Proud grandfather of Gregory and Daniel Burek, Gabrielle and Joseph Miller Jr., and Joseph M. Zarrella Jr. Joseph was born in Hammonton, NJ and had resided in Cedar Brook for the past 50 years. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1964-1966. He worked as a police officer with the New Jersey State Police, retiring in 1996 with the rank of Lieutenant. Joseph was also a life member of the Cedar Brook Volunteer Fire Company. Visitation will be held on Friday August 13, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 8:00 pm, followed by military honors. Cremation and interment will be held privately.
