John F. Williams, Jr., 47, of Mays Landing, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. In his home surrounded by his family & friends.
He is survived by his beloved children, John Anthony Williams (mother, Nora Williams) and Brantlee Cedar Williams (mother, Julie Forshaw); his mother, Linda Straubmuller (Clay); his brother, Matthew Williams (Ashley); his sister, Tiffany, his girlfriend, Jillian along with numerous close friends; and a variety of cherished pets. He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Williams, Sr.
John was a passionate hunter and angler who spent countless hours exploring the wilderness and sharing his love of nature with family and friends. Known for his ingenuity and resourcefulness, he could fix just about anything - earning him the nickname "MacGyver" among those who knew him.
Generous and selfless, John always put others before himself. He was also affectionately called "Dr. Dolittle" for his lifelong habit of rescuing animals and bringing them home - from raccoons to dogs, his heart was always open to those in need.
Professionally, John worked as an arborist supervisor for RPM Landscape. He was actively involved in the Ocean City Sportsman Club and several other outdoor alliance organizations.
Above all, John deeply loved his family, especially his two children, who were the light of his life.
