John R. Gallimore, Sr.

John R. Gallimore, Sr. of Atco, NJ, formerly of Sicklerville, age 88, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Sarah Ann. Loving father of Cynthia (David) Boehly, Laura (Robert) Raio, Angela Gallimore, Diane (Reas) Kondraschow, Mary (Douglas) Priestley, John R. (Jennifer) Gallimore, Jr. Devoted grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 19.

John was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force. He was a retired Air Traffic Controller for the FAA at the NAFEC facility in Pomona, NJ. He was a member of the Williamstown VFW, American Legion Post 0252, the Maintenance Club at Forest Meadows. John enjoyed playing bocce ball, bingo, 50/50’s, raffles and going to the casinos. He was the “biggest” Ohio State fan. John was the first deacon at the Church of the Assumption for 40 years and a volunteer for the St. John of God School.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening July, 28 ^th from 7:00 to 9:00PM, and on Friday morning July 29 ^th from 9:30 to 10:30AM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated follow at 11:00AM at the Church of the Assumption, Christ the Redeemer Parish, 315 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ.
