John O Borek

John O. Borek, 94, of Elm Town, passed away on January 13, 2013. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Rakowski); Devoted father of Barbara Comfort and Susan (Lawrence) Buonocore; Loving grandfather of Danielle and Michael and “grandpuppies” Pepper, Munchie, and Roxie; Dear brother of Frances Smith and Tony Borek. Predeceased by one brother and five sisters. An Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Borek was involved with the Knights of Columbus for many years and Winslow Seniors. He was president of East Elm town Homeowners Assoc. and president of Local 195 Gold Card Retirees’ Club. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday from 10:30AM at the Christ the Redeemer Parish, Church of St. Anthony, 450 Pennington Ave in Waterford Works, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held privately and under the direction of the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004.
