John Gustave Haas

John G. Haas age 89yrs. of Waterford Works, NJ passed away on January 6, 2020. John is survived by his wife of 66 years to Katharina (nee Mayrhofer), his children, Johann Haas (Sheila) of Lee, NH, David Haas (Rosita) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Steven Haas (Maryann) of Waterford Works, NJ, Ken Haas (Ronnie) of Deptford, NJ, Christel Messina of Clark, NJ and Linda Cooper (Sinclair) of Brigantine, NJ. John is also survived by his grandchildren, Taryn, Katherine, David, Michael, Jennifer, Zachary, Angela, Nicole, John, Ben and Sinclair, II. Mr. Haas served proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the acting Warden for the Union County Jail before leaving to take a position as a Detective at the Union County Prosecutors Office where he worked until he retired in 1983. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday, January 12, 2020 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Monday morning, January 13, 2020 from 9:30am to 10:30am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30am Monday morning. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Brigadier General Wm. C.
