John G. Snook

John George Snook, known also as “Snook”, age 81, of Atco, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 7th, 2024.

John was born in Gloversville, NY on February 6, 1943, to Clayton and Betty Snook, and was raised in Oneida, NY. He attended school in New York but later in life attended college in Kansas, at the College of Emporia, studying Officers Training. John was a transportation officer in the Army and served in the Vietnam War.

In January of 1982, Snook married Barbara Ann Hewitt in Jamaica. They had two beautiful daughters, Kimbery Ann and Kelly Jeannine, and 2 beloved grandchildren, Peyton Rylee and Jayce Ryder.

Snook enjoyed photography, once video came along, he jumped right on the bandwagon and started a video company, Video Treasures.

His friendly presence and charming laugh could light up any room. Snook is survived by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and many friends.

Cremation will be held privately. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
