John D. Panvini, Jr.

It is with great sadness to announce the loss of John D. Panvini, 83, of Pine Hill, NJ. John passed away the morning of Friday, January 17, 2025, in his home with his loving wife at his side.

John is survived by his wife, Carol Panvini; his five children, Maria (Frank) Lampe, John (Loretta) Panvini, Enrico Panvini, Sharon (Ron) Nave, and Kirk Panvini, along with his six grandchildren, great-grandchild, and many other wonderful family members and friends.

Johnny, known by many as "Soup Bone," was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School and went on to serve in the Army Reserves for four years. As a teenager, Johnny danced on the television show, Bandstand, hosted by Bob Horn, where he became a bit of a local celebrity! In later years, he moved to NJ, where he worked for Washington Twp. Public Works as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 2006. He was an avid fisherman and hunter for most of his life, taking pride in teaching many of his loved ones how to catch a fish. He was a dutiful friend, always good for a laugh or a wild story, and as charming as they come.

Johnny is now reunited in heaven with some very important loved ones, including his parents, John and Mary, and his sister, Rosemary.

Friends and family are invited to John's visitation on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
