Joanne L. Reitemeyer

Joanne L. Reitemeyer, age 75 of Berlin, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023. She was the beloved and cherished mother of Dr. Angela Saliba and her husband, John B. Saliba. Joanne is also survived by her siblings Paul, Thomas, and Sandra Lorenc, her dear cousins, Anne Marie Mullarkey and Patty Emmer, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her close friends of 40+ years, Marge Akerly-April and Joann Heinlin. Joanne is pre-deceased by her husband, Albert Reitemeyer, Jr., her parents, Edwin and Frances Lorenc, and her siblings, Michael and Carol Ann Lorenc.

Originally from Newark, NJ, Joanne was a graduate of Essex County Vocational School. Joanne worked for the US Department of Defense at both Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck, NJ and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Lakehurst, NJ for 36 years as the Chief Property Disposal Officer. She retired in 2001.

Joanne will be remembered for the love and generosity that she shared with others. Until her last moments, she carried herself with dignity and strength, comforted by the love of her daughter and son-in-law. Words cannot express how dearly she will be missed.

Family and friends are invited to Joanne’s visitation on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A memorial service will begin at 2:30 pm. Condolences can be shared on Joanne’s tribute wall.
