Joan Tomassone

Joan Tomassone (nee Passarella) “Boots” age 86 of Berlin, NJ (formerly of Ocean City, NJ) passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Tomassone, Sr. Loving mother of Linda Foley (Michael) of Atco, NJ, Daniel Tomassone, Jr. (Giselle) of Atco, NJ, Debby Damush of California, and Thomas Tomassone (Sharon) of Del Haven, NJ. Dear sister of William Passarella, Jr. (Shirley) of Clovis, CA and Georgann Tomasello (Phil Carbine) of Seaville, NJ. Grandmother of 12, Great Grandmother of 16. Joan loved Ocean City. She enjoyed walking on the Ocean City boardwalk as the sun rises. She loved eating Ice Cream, playing Bingo, doing Arts & Crafts, dancing and listening to Motown Music. Joan especially enjoyed trips to Tropicana Casino and Bowling. She was a member of the Ocean City South End Association and the Riverboat Club of Ocean City. Before retirement, Joan worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Ocean City Elementary School and at the Hallmark Store in the Shore Mall. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy followed by a family eulogy will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Atco Cemetery, Atco, NJ.
