Joan T. Milazzo

Joan T. Milazzo, age 82, was born in Camden, NJ on July 4, 1941, to James Ward, Sr. and Ethel Cunningham Ward. Beloved mother, Nan, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. Joan passed away on June 15, 2024, at The Samaritan Center in Voorhees, NJ.

Joan is preceded in death by her father, James Ward Sr.; her mother, Ethel Ward; and her brother, James Ward, Jr.

Joan is survived by her two children, Debbie Milazzo of Havana, FL, and Michael Milazzo (Lisa) of Berlin, NJ; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Stowell (Jessica) of Tallahassee, FL, Jessica Stowell of Berlin, NJ, Jennifer Stowell of Wilmington, NC, and Ivy Chatelain of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada; sister, Carol Cinelli (Claude); niece, Teri Komer; nephew, Claude Cinelli (Pam); and her cherished Kitty.

Joan has lived in Berlin, NJ for over 60 years. She was a pillar of strength and compassion throughout her life. She loved traveling around the country and was an avid country music fan. In addition to her nurturing nature, Joan was admired for her resilience, unwavering faith, and determination. She faced life's challenges with grace and optimism.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 12:00 PM at St. Simon Stock, located at 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ, 08009. Interment will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ. Condolences may be shared on Joan’s tribute wall.
