Joan M. Schnell

On Friday, December 2, 2022, Joan M. Schnell (nee Gillespie) of Winslow, NJ passed away peacefully at the age of 88.

Those who loved her fondly remember her caring demeanor and love of animals, especially the many cats she cared for throughout her life. She took delight in music and always loved being in a social environment, evident in her chosen career as a waitress at Bruno’s Ale House/Haddon West, in Haddonfield, NJ.

Joan is survived by her dear sister, Patricia Curley (William); her loving niece, Kelly Martinovitch (Daniel); and her nephew, William Curley (Jennifer). She was the loving Great Aunt of Evan Martinovitch and Mackenzie Martinovitch. Joan is also survived by her lifelong dearest friend, Jacqueline Truster. She will be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends.

Cremation will be private. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a musical celebration of life is scheduled.
