Jessica J. Russell Gillen

Jessica Jane Gillen, age 45, of Berlin, NJ, passed away on April 8, 2025. Surrounded by loved ones, she left this world peacefully. Devoted mother to John "Jack," beloved daughter of Karen (Dowell) Russell, sister of Donald Russell, Jr. (Fran). Jessica is also survived by John E. Gillen with whom she shared Jack. She was blessed with many cousins, each of whom held a special place in her heart, especially Bonnie-Lynn Schneider and Billie-Jean Carlin. Jessica is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Donald Russell.

Jessica spent her career dedicated to the legacy of the Pic A Lilli Inn located in Shamong, NJ, where she was raised in the family business. Loved by many, her radiant smile lit up the restaurant and bar, welcoming guests and making friends of strangers. Jessica enjoyed the beach, her jeep, concerts, travel, sporting events, Disney and her pets. She lived life to the fullest and was always looking forward to her next adventure. Although Jessica is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
