Jennie Perrone

Jennie Perrone, age 99, of Ocean City, NJ and formerly of Atco, NJ, passed away on February 7, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waterford Township, NJ, to the late Pasquale and Angelina (nee Contrevo) Severino. Jennie worked as a seamstress and was a long-time member of the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union. She had a passion for reading and was an active participant in a women’s bowling league for many years. Jennie’s life was full of love, joy, and dedication, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jennie is survived by her daughters, Angelina DeSilvio (Joseph) and Donna Heggan (the late Jerry); grandchildren, Michelle DeSilvio, Christopher DeSilvio (Heather), Kathy Dennison (George), Debra Arsenault, and Christine Dively (Mike); great grandchildren, Christopher DeSilvio, Jr., Katelyn Gregerson, Mason Gregerson, Ariel DeSilvio, Maura DeSilvio, and Makenna DeSilvio; brother, Joseph Severino; dear friend, Carmella Baccari; and many loving cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Dan Severino, Mary DiDomenico, Ralph Severino, and Louis Severino; dear friend, Mary DiSpirito; and parents, Pasquale and Angelina Severino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM at St. Simon Stock Church, located at 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Berlin Cemetery.
