Jean M. Salwach

Jean Salwach, age 72 of Atco, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 25, 2024. Jean was the beloved wife of Edward Salwach for 49 years; wonderful mother to her three children, Jim, David, and Steve; and cherished grandmother to Zach, Chase, Jaxon, Lincoln, Brooke, and Blake. Also survived by her siblings, Allen, Lynn, and Phyllis, and her many loving nieces and nephews.

Jean will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. She was the first person to help anyone in need. She loved her family deeply and was very active in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives by going to all their games, playing cards and boardgames, and assisting with the school and parish. Growing up, her children will fondly remember their mother always side by side with their pet Yorkie, Trixie, who gave their mother the utmost joy and many fond memories.

Her passions included coaching soccer and track and field, bowling, watching and rooting for her Philadelphia sport teams, and the Olympics. Jean enjoyed taking trips to the boardwalk where she would enjoy some Kohr’s ice cream, walking the beach, and spending time with her family.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, located at 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ.
