Jean M. Mcdowell

Jean McDowell (nee Pape), originally from Queens, NY, and a 50-year resident of Berlin, passed peacefully at age 93 on September 4, 2023. She is survived by her children, James McDowell, Jr., of Tabernacle, NJ, Christine Haden, of San Diego, CA, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James McDowell, Sr. in 2010 and her parents, Frank and Christina Pape.

She was a long-time and beloved member of the Atco Presbyterian Church and held many positions there as she shared her love of the Lord.

A visitation will be held from 9 am to 10 am at  Atco Presbyterian Church, 2259 Atco Ave., Atco, NJ on Friday, October 13, 2023, with a memorial service from 10 am to 11 am, followed by a luncheon at the church. Inurnment of both Jean and James's ashes will follow at 2:30 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ
