Janet Dean, age 76, of Voorhees, NJ, passed away on Friday May 8, 2020. Beloved mother of Laura Gates of Port Orange, FL, John Whittaker of Port Orange, FL, Thomas Dean of South Carolina, and the late Elaine Dean. Proud grandmother of many grandchildren. Wonderful Aunt to Virginia Hubbard and RJ Whittaker. She worked for many years as a waitress at the Cherry Hill Inn. When you think of Janet Betty Dean. You think of. Christmas time, goodies and laughter. When Christmas was coming she could never have enough decorations, lights and gifts for everyone. Her heart was so full of love and kindness. She was something special. She would play video games, beat everyone at her favorite crash bandicoot. She knew how to have fun, no matter where she was. She loved her Elvis Presley and Betty Boop. She was the "yard sale" shopping queen, loved to get a good deal. She loved to stop at a diner for a quick lunch. She was the funniest, goofiest lady in many of our lives. She will always be remembered. She touched so many lives in so many ways. As she would always say its never goodbye, but see ya later alligator. Cremation will be held privately.
