James P. Markey, Jr.

James P. Markey, Jr. age 49 of Williamstown, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital, Wahington Twp., NJ.

Jimmy to his family and “JJ” to his friends, was predeceased by his mother and father Jeanne and James Markey, Sr. Jimmy worked in precast concrete for 20 years. He also worked for Hospitality Creek campground for many years, where he was a part of a great family of friends.

Everyone who met him loved him. He'd help you with anything or even give you his last dollar. His life's purpose wasn't money it was people.

Jimmy also loved the Eagles. An avid fan.

James is survived by his brother, Bobby Markey (Cindy) of Williamstown, NJ and Jeanne Kerrigan of Cockeysville, MD. Jimmy also had a close bond with his cousin Donna . He is also leaving behind may loving nieces and nephews.

Cremation was held privately. In lieu of flowers, “Donations” to charity of your choice.
