James K. Stetser, Jr.

James K. Stetser, Jr. age 76 of Waterford Works, NJ passed away at his home with his family by his side on Saturday December 25, 2021. James is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Fabiani) his son Jason Stetser (Stephanie) and his daughter Jacqueline Kennedy (Tom) He is also survived by his grandson, John M. Kennedy and his granddaughter, Victoria M. Kennedy. James worked in Camden, NJ as a Police Officer. He retired after 21 years of service with the rank of Sergeant. He was also in the Army Nation Guard for over 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. James was a member of the FOP Lodge 144 in Cherry Hill, NJ and the Atco American Legion Post #311. James was an all-around sportsman. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and trapping. Another of his hobbies was playing cards with his many friends. A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment of his urn will take immediately following at the 1st. Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 21 E. Church St., Blackwood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the FOP Lodge 144, PO Box 1025, Camden, NJ 08101. When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them but to live with the love they left behind.
