Jim “Sonny” had a passion for the outdoors. Ever since he was a little boy, he spent his time fishing and hunting with his family. He then carried on that tradition with his own children and grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of the Long Beach Island Fishing Club, the 800 Club, the Happy Hookers Fishing Club, the NJ Beach Buggy Association, as well as the Alpha Gun Club, all including many honorary recognitions. He was always there to offer help and guidance, not only with hunting and fishing but even with assisting a stranger broken down on the side of the road. Jim looked forward to his vacations to Nantucket, Provincetown, Cape Cod, Cape Hatteras, and Long Beach Island. He had many good, caring friends. Last but not least, Jim was proud of his family and loved them dearly.
