Heather M. Auwarter

Heather M. Auwarter (nee Walsh) of Sicklerville, NJ passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Heather is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, Karl W. Auwarter, III. Her children, Emma Auwarter of Sicklerville, NJ, Melissa Calabrese (Daniel) of Hammonton, NJ, Amanda Auwarter of Boynton Beach, FL, Rebecca Romberger (Joel) of Waterford Works, NJ and Caroline Auwarter (David Darcangelo) of Tansboro, NJ. Also surviving is her mother Charlene Walsh of Mt. Laurel, NJ, her sister, Beth Heine (Matt) of Medford, NJ, grandchildren, Daniel, Ava, Cody, Macie, nephews, Brendan, Sean, Ryan and her niece, Megan. Heather is predeceased by her father John J. Walsh, Jr.

Heather loved the beach, spending many days in Sea Isle City and Townsend Inlet collecting shells and saving turtles. Heather loved turtles and the seashore so much so that she would stop her car on roadways to “help” a turtle to cross a street. She would spend her spare time painting the shells and rocks that she collected. She loved her garden, raising her chickens, planting flowers and leaf blowing. She always went above and beyond as the host, especially during Christmas.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:30am at the St. Simon Stock Parish/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am. Cremation was held privately.
