Hariprasad Maneklal Acharya, age 96, passed away on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife, Jyostna Acharya (age 93); daughters, Bina R., Mala R., and Hina S.; sons, Bhavesh A., Kamal A., and Nilesh A.; Sons-in-law, Narendra R., Prabodh R., and Akhilesh S.; daughters-in-law, Falguni A., Foram A., and Pallavi A.; grandchildren, Sejal R. (m. Alok M.), Ishwari S. (m. Vikram S.), Amar R. (m. Pooja B.), Jaykrishna S. (m. Pooja S.), Mitali M. (m. Jay M.), Dev A., Shivani A., Hari A., Vinita A., Karan A., Mayuri A., and Harsh A.; great-grandchildren, Roshni S., Saraiya M., Suraj S., Amaiya M., and Naiya M.

Hariprasad was born in Halvad, Gujarat, India, in 1928 as the oldest of ten siblings, he began traveling for work at the age of 19, moving from Halvad to Madras to Calcutta. In 1991, he immigrated to the US at age 63, determined to create better opportunities and a brighter future for his children and future generations. His success in achieving these goals is evident through the beautiful lives of his family.
