Gregory was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Son of John R. Waller Jr. and Essie Mae Waller. He attended the Philadelphia Public School System. He joined The United States Army on February 1967 -1969 and received an honorable discharge. He spent his working career at Sun Ship and Dry Dock Company and became A master welder. Later he became a driver for Para-Transit / Septa of Philadelphia and now retire. He has taking course in business at Thompson Institute of Philadelphia. Gregory was the owner of M & W Enterprise Masonic Supplies company and apprentice jeweler with his wife Florence. In April 1978 Gregory became a Master Mason of Foster Military Lodge No.67,. PHA Willingboro, New Jersey, where he worked on varies committees. He assumed the role as Worshipful Master of his Lodge in 1994-95. Patron of Erame Chapter No.62 OES Willingboro, New Jersey in 1997-98 and 2014-15 . In his masonic career he served in varies houses in the order of freemasonry. He was Commander-In Chief of Consistory No.48 Valley of Trenton Orient of New Jersey. Also , he was elevated to the thirty-third degree class of 2013. In addition, he served in the following Grand Houses: Past Grand Eminent Commander of Mount Calvary Grand Commandery State of New Jersey Past Royal Grand Chief Engineer, Celestial Grand Court. State of New Jersey Past International Grand Royal Advisor, International Grand Cyrene Crusaders Auxiliary to the Grand Encampment of Knight Templar United States of America & Bahamas P.H.A. Past Most Worthy Grand Joshua of Bethlehem Grand Court Heroines of Jericho State of New Jersey and 2nd Court Director of the General Grand Conference of the Heroines of Past Eminent Prior of Daniel W. Frazier Jr., Priory No. 5 Knights of the York Cross of Honor, PHA., and served as their Recorder. Past Grand Thrice Illustrious Master Arthur L. Taylor Grand Council Royal & Select Maters State of New Jersey and Past Commander-In Chief Ophir Consistory No.48 Valley of Trenton Orient of New Jersey. Gregory was a member of Zion Baptist in Camden New Jersey. He was a Lifetime member of Slade Valentine American Lodge Post 336 of Burlington, New Jersey. He was a Lifetime Member of the Disabled America Veterans and the Houston Texas Rodeo Association. Gregory’s final position was President of The Foster Temple Association. He enjoyed traveling with his lovely wife, gardening, playing cards and doing puzzles. Gregory leaves his loving wife and best friend Florence. Father, John Waller (Mary), Sister Detra Grey (Larry), Brother in laws, Bradford & Brantford McLeod. Four children, Gregory Jr. Phyllis Waller, Lynn Victoria Griffin and Deann Marie Waller, (5) grand- children and (9) great grand -children. Special friends Joyce and Epton Thomas, Micheal and Gwen Clark. He also leaves behind many of his Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
